About your therapist
I came to psychology through stories.
My academic journey began with the desire to understand a confusing world through literature — people, relationships, histories, cultures, and the systems of power that often govern them. Over time, that curiosity turned inward, from understanding the world around us to wondering about the inner worlds we carry. This movement from society to the individual, from without to within, led me to psychology and to becoming a mental health professional.
Today, I collaborate with my clients in their journeys of self-discovery, healing, and fulfillment. I aim to create a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental space where difficult thoughts and feelings can be explored with curiosity and compassion.
My work draws on evidence-based approaches to help clients make sense of their experiences, understand patterns shaped by their past, navigate present difficulties, and move toward greater self-understanding and a more meaningful life.

How I work
I am an integrative practitioner with a humanistic-experiential base and a cognitive-behavioural framework.
My work emphasizes collaborative formulation, culturally responsive and anti-oppressive practice, and phase-appropriate intervention. In plainer terms, that means four things.
Two traditions, working together
One focuses on understanding your feelings, experiences, and sense of self; we work with emotions as they come up in the session. The other looks at the thoughts, beliefs, and habits that keep a pattern running, and helps you develop practical ways of coping. I draw on both, and which one leads depends on what the moment asks for. Either way, what stays constant is unconditional positive regard, meaning I accept you as you are, without judgement.
We build the understanding together
Rather than handing you a label, we work out a shared picture of what is happening and why — and revise it as we go.
Your context belongs in the room
Culture, family, migration and the power structures you live inside are part of the work, not background noise to set aside.
We move at the pace that fits
The work we do is matched to where you are in your journey.
